Mental anxiety

Post by chandresh_kumar »

Mental anxiety is one of the root causes of the misdeeds in the world. Many syndromes are also happening due to psychological inequality, nervous strain, mental imbalance and hypertension. Use of tranquilisers, smoking, taking marijuana and other legal and illegal drugs is also increasing to get relaxed, which is a source of worry of many spiritual people.. they want to uplift the world towards goodness, and Mental Tension is flowing energy to backward…..

Any Intoxication is not a remedy however temporary relief may be happened… we all must have listen these words many times in our life.. Even, these things have harmful effects on humans’ mental faculties and they make him a slave of the urge to take them again and again.

However one can naturally get rid from this problem by moving towards spirituality, by doing meditations, and changing little bit in daily routines…

The main factors, which are responsible for the mental tensions are our own thoughts, the environment, working more than efficiency and no-work, etc.

Beside the physical structure, it is the soul which is the centre of the consciousness. It is a belief that the pituitary gland receives the external stimuli through the hypothalamus which receives information from the cerebral cortex of the brain and passes it on to the soul. The soul reacts to those stimuli according to its properties.

Meditation and Yoga enables the soul to include real-values and bliss in it and have link with GOD. The soul, because of his belief in God as the omnipotent, who helps those who have chosen HIS path, remains free of worry, feels secure and feeling of love and peace.

Modern Science also explores pleasant effect of Meditation on the Brain and the Mental State. In the Book Zen and the Brain: Toward an Understanding of Meditation and Consciousness, written by Dr. James Austin, who is a neurologist, consciousness is examined by intertwining personal experiences with Zen meditation.

Many current researches offer additional motivation. In a study in the journal Stroke, 60 African-Americans with atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries, practiced meditation for six to nine months. (African-Americans are twice as likely to die from cardiovascular disease as are whites.) The meditators showed a marked decrease in the thickness of their artery walls, while the nonmeditators actually showed an increase.

A second study, published in Psychosomatic Medicine, Few people have randomly selected from 90 cancer patients and they have started meditating. After seven weeks of meditation, those who had meditated reported that they were significantly less depressed, anxious, angry and confused than the control group, which hadn't practiced meditation. These practioners were also having more energy and fewer heart and gastrointestinal problems than other patients.

It is not only a belief but proved, that Meditation can move one…
• From Tension to Attention
• From Illness to Health
• From Dullness to Sharpness
• From Stressfulness to Gracefulness
• From Fearfulness to Fearlessness
• From Rigidity to Flexibility
• From Discontentment to Contentment
• From Restlessness to Tranquility
• From Complexity to Simplicity
• From Fragmentation to Integrity
• From Separatism to Unity
• From Vanity to Sanity
• From War to Love
• From Ownership to Trusteeship
• From Lonely to Alone
• From Misery to Bliss
• From Bondage to Liberation
• From Indifference to Compassion
• From Selfishness to Selflessness
• From Competition to Co-operation

There are many other studies which have proved the inner science and benefits of the Meditations, and explained that meditation can remove mental anxiety from any one, if it happens properly, punctually , cleanly and peacefully..

Kind regards :F0

Ooops!
stress, tension.
Dear Chandreshji, you nicely have written above post. Yes, Stress aggravates illnesses like Hypertension, insomnia, diabetes, herpes, multiple sclerosis, irritability, anger, poor judgment. Also leads to marriage breakups, family fights, road rage, suicides, violence.

My understanding is this, Though you are in present bodily but your mind wonders in future, this gap creates conflict and leads to stress and tension. if we bridge this gap living in present, you wont undergo stress and tension.

Ji.... Mohan ji,

A ton of thanks for these meaningful words, these are very true, I remember once the head of "traditional-royal-family" of Udaipur, has told in an interview with Time Of India news-paper,
I always put

My Past in my hands
My future in my eyes
and
My Present in my legs"
He means,
We must stand in present only.... with experiences of past and deep-sight of future...

Regards,
