Hello Nirmal..
Sudarshan kiriya is Different from Reiki. it is breathing-based technique used for :-
[*] Greater creativity and clarity of mind.
[*] Reduced stress and tension.
[*] More ease and joy in personal relationships.
The Meaning of Sudarshan is--- Su = Proper, Darshan = Vision, and Kriya = purifying practice.
Sudarshan Kriya is a relatively young technique though it's components are all classic pranayamas. It consists of rounds of ujjayi, kapalabhati and bastrika (all sequenced correctly) and takes about twenty minutes to complete.

The Sudarshan Kriya is developed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. It is a powerful rhythmic breathing technique that facilitates physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being is an integral part of the Art of Living programs.
Sudarshan Kriya harmonizes the rhythms of the body, and emotions, and brings them in tune with the rhythms of nature. I did Sudarshan Kriya regularly for 2 years. Great effect.
About Reiki, there is lots of info available on it at THC, better explore that. Pradeep has rightly guided you.
Good luck.

Sudarshan Kriya Technique is based on breathing and a bit similar to yog-nidra..... Like Vipassana, Zazen, Preksha Dhyan, even more, it is one method of meditation to remove stress and to get rid of physical, mental and aura blocks..
One start become aware in mind from the feet and gradually all other parts of body upto head... The kriya requires breathing in and out through your nose in circular breaths without pausing in between the inhalation and the exhalation with so-hum-so-hum... The pace became slow at first and then quickens like a runaway train: sohumsohumsohum.....
Moreover, it is a part of Basic course of Art of living... and it is very much suggested that, do not start this without proper directions/teacher....
This information is to understand basics of the kriya but it is not full kriya... one should have good teacher to do this...

Not at all, one can do it alone... but learning alone may become harmful...
You may also try Yog-nidra with proepr rhythmic deepest/slow Breath.... you'll feel deep relaxation like Sudarshan Kriya... and for Yog-nidra, you'll find many videos / audios....free or low cost...

Thanks Pradeep for these great links, I'll sure read them to get new knowledge, however, I learnt Yog-Nidra from Swami Ramdeoji's Audio cassette and from another Audio CD.
About Sudarshan Kriya, I experienced in one Seminar from HP (Stress Free Computing)..
That is why I could write above comments...
I'll surely read these articles to enhance the knowledge and Nirmal should also read that... It will really be benificial.
Regards
