Hello everyone.

Today is my first day in this forum and it was great to know how spiritualism can help others.
I would also i like to be a part of it .
I saw a few posts in the reiki section and the attunements section ...
and am a little confused??
I do not know reiki .. and so wanted to know if i could learn and how to start learning..
Also What does an attunement really mean? I read the article "What is attunement?", and the question i want to ask is .... "Is it a process of healing people or is it a process where people can learn about reiki "?
Since i am a working woman, I would like to know if i can spend some time in the evening after coming back from office (7 pm evening) instead of morning.

"What is attunement?"

Suppose you have a radio set and you want to listen any particular station A.
So you tune the radio set to station A. if you want to hear station B, you tune to station B.
See, these radio waves are present in the atmosphere but we can not access it. To access particular wave we have to adjust (tune) to particular frequency.
Exactly same way in the attunement process the charkas on the subtle body are been (a) tuned to particular frequencies, so as you can access universal life force.  This process of tuning is called as attunement. It can be achieved by many ways, 
These attunements are performed on the subtle level either face to face or distantly (remotely).
attunements are done distantly?
Yes, These attunements are performed in different dimensions, there are no limitation of time and space to these energies. Illusions of Time and space can easily be transcended. Once attuned to Reiki or energy healing systems, anyone can access this energy by just intention. It is amazingly simple techniques transferred to the student by the Reiki Master through the processes are called attunements or empowerment or sometimes initiations.
Your ideas will be more clear as u read and study the manuals.
