Hello everybody & namaste,

Here are some basic questions about Reiki I was wondering about recently, so I decided to throw them in here (even at the risk of boring the majority of you with not even knowing this..) Everyone is invited to kindly share his/her knowledge and enlighten me...

1.Ki is universal energy. There are these systems like Ki Gong or Tai Chi, which also work with Ki but without the need to get attuned to it. So now what is the difference between the energy they work with and Reiki ? (How would you discribe ? )
2. Could everyone, just like M. Usui attune her/himself to Reiki or Kundalini through own efforts ? What must be done or be fulfilled that it happen by itself ?
3. It is said that Reiki can help you on your way to enlightenment. Does it also mean that all enlightened ones in the world have Reiki abilities ? ( enlightenment here very general : having realised the pure nature of heart )
4. Is it right that celestial beings all have Reiki abilities ?

( I know this forum has a more practical approach to Reiki. If these questions are too interlectual or theoretical to place them her please let me know.)

Please have in mind that there is boring questions in this forum but only bored people who never read related posts of other members that had similar questions in the past.
In your case your questions are quite interesting and surely many others have similar queries...so lets try to give answers....

1. Indeed Ki is universal energy but the word itself comes from Japanese vocabulary its a variation of the word Chi of chinese. But

Don't get attached with the words because almost all civilizations especially the ancient ones had formed many different heaslling and enlightment systems but based on the same source. In fact Qi Gong is a comlete energy system which use almost all the energy frequencies of the universal energy spectum for various reasons. There is 2 basic categories in Qi Gong the healing one and the martial one...as the Tai Chi or the Saolin monks martial art. These system includes forms with breath and body exercises for flexibility and better energy focus and control.
Here the attunement comes much harder than the Reiki attunement. And we can say that Reiki as a system is only a small part of the healing Qi Gong or maybe better that in Reiki we use only a small part of the frequencies of the whole spectrum...but it works meraculuslly!

2. Could everyone, just like M. Usui attune her/himself to Reiki or Kundalini through own efforts ? What must be done or be fulfilled that it happen by itself ?

2. Here I can give only my view about this subject...
Well by someway yes its possible....but who is like Usui sensei ib these days?
Please do a research and learn about the sensei's Usui biography and then you will realize that almost non of todays people act based on the 5 emperors principles that Mikao Usui used to teach to people.
If you have in mind this, you will understand that is very very hard in the today's world....every day and each one of them : "Don't get angry" , "Don't worry" , "Be Grateful","Work hard", "Be kind to others".....
Believe me if you believe in this principles and make them part of your life and part of your personality them you will achive the enlightment and you will recieve the initiation straight from the source....as happend to Usui Sensei....

3. It is said that Reiki can help you on your way to enlightenment. Does it also mean that all enlightened ones in the world have Reiki abilities ? ( enlightenment here very general : having realised the pure nature of heart )

3. This question indeed makes me smile because there is a huge confuse..... Reiki in fact IS NOT just a healing method...... Reiki was created by Usui as a "tool" which would help humanity reach the enlightment by living with principles and expanding concsiousness till become connected and be one with the universe.... The healling skills and abilities that Reiki gives us are only a small part of the whole system. Every Reiki practitioner and each one of us have to notice that even from the very start is able to heal and help ownself and others! Isn't it Amazing!?
But its sad to think that most "Reiki healers" do not give any attention to the real path that they are invited to follow. To make it more clear Reiki is mostly an enlightment system and then healling method.

4. Is it right that celestial beings all have Reiki abilities ?

4. Reiki abilities..... Have in mind that Reiki is only 2 joined Japanese words and nothing more. There are multiple systems ancient and new ones with similar ,better or worst results. Don't get attached with the words....
Finally celestial beings may speak different languages and maybe have own powers and maybe there are not in the need of a enlightment-healing system-method etc. Because they are celestial allready.....
