Namaste!

My mother had a anti-rabies vaccine reaction in 1986. It led to initiation of Paralysis that initiated from legs and travelled updwards. It was arrested with help of medicines. Thereafter she was able to stand and walk, however Dr.'s reported around 90% normal functioning. Over the period of time, her condition detoriated and gradually she was not able to walk and now she cannot stand or make her legs straight - they remain in squatting position. Nerves problem led to weak muscles and reduced mobility over period of time and led to problems in joints as well.

She is a USUI Reiki Level 2 and has also done Surya Shakti.

I am looking forward at getting her further attuned to modalities of Reiki with the objective of:-

1. Self-Healing to enable her taking care of basic problems that arise herself without medication
2. Spiritual Growth - I think it would be good to boost her on this side for her growth as a whole leaving behind Karma...

With a view to above, I have Kundalini Reiki in my mind. Apart from healing it could enable Kundalini (yoga) rising which in turn would help with guided spiritual growth.

As such, request for your views and guidance on:
1. Would KR be good for her? Since typically a paralytic patient has some damage in spine - would it be safe enough?
2. In your views what all Reiki or other therapies could be beneficial in such a case - based on your actual healing experience? Any experience of curing similar case?
3. Further to point 2 above, should I explore her attunements to some other modalities? if yes, which all?
4. Her current problem includes stomach problems.
5. Any other suggestions, you might have?

I would request forum members to share their experience and views on above to help me take the right course of action.

Manish, I'm sorry that you and yur mother are having such difficulties in this life. When I read your post, I get a sense for your mothers state of health. I don't feel that KR would 'fix' her problems, Kundalini awakening can be emotionally and spiritualy traumatic to some people. She has Usui level 2, so have her use her Reiki frequently to meditate, to live the principles of Reiki as best she can and to embrace who she is now. Who she is now is someone wo is still alive, is able to see the sunrise, to see her loved ones, hear the sounds of nature and the voices of her loved-ones arround her. Have her LIVE as she is now, to be thankful of her many blessings.

Have her give as well as recieve Reiki treatments, Reiki her food and her medications. Remind her to 'not worry, have faith'. Her life will unfold the way it is ment to and Reiki energy will help her live with anything that is difficult in her destiny. Also have faith that Reiki will give her the right level of healng - which is not necessarily to walk tall again. This will all bring about the spiritual growth you speek of and - as she learns to internalise each of the Reiki precepts/principles, will help improve her Karma.

Have her attuned to level 3 and help her progress at this level. Please do not have her bombarded with multiple attunements to multiple systems, in her state she may find all the ajustments this brings very unsettling and difficult to live with and may still not bring the level of physical healing you seek for her. Sometimes the things we experiences in life are what we are ment to experience and learn from. I feel that unfortunately your mother was destined to experience paralysis for some reason. I feel this because the paralysis that was initiated was halted medically, but fate/the source/divine has overcome tis and begun the progression of paralysis again. Please use your Reiki, guide her in using hers, try to ease the physical pain she needs to endure.

All the advice that I send to her through you - take for yourself too. If you live Reiki fully, you only need one system.

Dear Manish,
I am slightly annoyed with you for not telling about mom earlier.
Anyways better late than never.
Please request a Healing for her at the forum.
I think Gordon has picked up the topic very well & advised you aptly. Do consider his suggestions.
I slightly differ on the Kundalini Reiki aspect. It is safe as any other modality. Kundalini can also be harnessed using other healing techniques. It has not to be confused with Kundalini Yoga(specific Pranayam & asanas) which done gradually & ethically is not dangerous either.
Coming back to your query.......
I may use some blunt terms
What your mother should be given is Karuna (unconditional love). She must be made to feel that you all need her. How her presence in the family is so important.
Please don't impose on her any modalities. Don't be forceful in using techniques against her will. Let her free will decide it. Don't try to over educate her. Let the process decide its own speed.
Also tell her to heal others. Do regular full body healing without any necessary aim. Just enjoy the Reiki energy.
of course occasionally you can try guided techniques at least 3 days continuous.
The techniques are there on THC.
I am sure you have read the post on Forgiveness sessions & Attachment to Outcome.
While intending for her healing also direct the flow to other in similar condition. this is one way of detaching from the outcome.
Believe me this factors are important.

Thanks a million for spending time to reply on my post. It has been quite useful and has also given me good insight on various Reiki modalities and what should one expect from same apart from giving me direction on how to proceed further in this matter.

I have had a word with her to give healing and recieve as well and infact raised a healing request for her on the forum.

I appreciate your vision. Listen chose any healing modality and continue with that just do not rush with lot of modalities.

I do not recommend Kundalini yoga. Instate you may go for Kundalini Reiki.

Very good question. I too encountered this thing few years before.
Dear you would have heard “Sound mind in sound body”
I have seen the most sound mind in the most decomposed body of the leprosy patients.
And I wanted to attune them into Kundalini Reiki. I also had discussion with Ole Gabrielsen about attuning leprosy patients.

Just believe, KR or AR works. You need to affirm the term “…for the highest good of…” it is very important.
Everything, Heat, light, electricity, magnetism etc are the manifestations of Prana.
All prana energy comes from the same cosmic source “Hiranyagarbha” Reiki energy is preprogrammed from the same source with a lot of conditions and safe guard attached.
So Reiki works for the highest good.
Reiki energy helps to harmonize the body's energy pathways through the chakra and also strengthens and activates inner healing strength. I have found that reiki treatment can initiate movement in muscles by waking up paralyzed nerves. Reflexes and tone normalize.
