My name is Vivian and I live in Canada. I have been doing healing touch for the past six year. I was introduced to Reiki about 5 years ago and have been reading and learning about reiki. It is very simular to healing touch but I feel that reiki will benifit me with my healing energies and look forward to being attuned on the reiki 1 level.
Just a little backgrould as to why I became intrested in energy healing. My sister was in a terrible accident that had left her paralized from the neck down. The healing touch helped not only myself but also my sister, as we both needed energy and healing to get through each day after her accident ,I would give her a treatment with healing touch and at the end of a treatment we both felt the stress and worrie just lift from us. About a year later I received my first reiki treatment from a lady. When the treatment was over I felt so warm and loved that I dont think I will ever forget the way it made me feel. It was like I had gotten the biggest hug and all the love that was in the world was filling up inside of me. So I wanted to learn as much as I could about Reiki and I look so forward to getting my level one reiki attunement.

Do read the Attunement section carefully. The next Attunement is scheduled approximately at the month end. Also download the Usui Reiki 1 manual from the site. In case you don't find the links you can ask on post or pm me.
If your sister needs the attunements hand her the printouts of the manuals & instruct her what you learn here. Better still if she can come here. Please feel free to post on the forum & ask if you need anything.
