The Holistic Care

Hi Everyone,
My Grandmother died on October 5th. My mom has been in hospital since Saturday, with some gall bladder problems (maybe relating to that) and has just been diagnosed with diabetes. She should be leaving to go home today, so things are improving.

She is complaining that she has a muscle spasm in her skull that is causing her some discomfort. However, she has had LONG time problems with muscle spasms in her back as well.

Reiki for all of the above would be very helpful.  Her name is Maggie, she is 75, and lives in California. If you need more, let me know. She is happy to have any and all healing sent her way!

Sorry, I flubbed it. She is only 75... 

Years ago, a man rented a room from her who was a Reiki master. He traded body/energy work for rent. He kept her out of pain for many years. He has since passed on and she mentioned this when I spoke to her on the phone. She was very glad when I told her that Reiki could be sent to her.

This has been several lessons for me, as well. Although I have been sending Reiki to others, and doing Reiki on myself as well, it felt different when I sent Reiki to my mom. It was very powerful and I could feel it really flowing through me. I learned that much of past anger has been released and I am able to truly be loving towards her in her need.  I am wondering why the blocks were removed for this and why I do not feel the same quality of energy flow when sending to others. The needs are the same, are they not?

Anyone new reading this, please send her energy when you have time. I saw her a few months ago and she is now using a walker (bad knees). I feel inside that she has to learn from these experiences and maybe Reiki will aid her in seeing what the lessons are and move past the need for such chronic pain.

Please experiment with this technique that follows
1st) Gasho posture
      "Reiki for pain relief" practice 10-20 minutes
then

2nd) "Reiki for healing and my moms Maggie highest good"
      Do a full body session but stay more time at :
      1. kidneys
      2. liver
      3. pancreas
      4. heart
      5. stomach
      6. intestines
      7. bladder
      8. head
      9. spinal cord from head to waist

Hi John, Tanisha, and everyone,
Thank you, all, for your kind efforts in sending healing to my mom. She is at home and is doing "ok". I am not sure she is ready to accept healing, even though she loves Reiki and believes in it. She now has coughing due to fluid in her lungs. This agravates the pain of the stitches.

I will keep sending energy to her and appreciate any and all efforts on her behalf. I believe she can use much help in the emotional healing, that would improve her ability to heal herself physically.

This is very true... and try to show her that life is a lovely game to play, as I think that she finds it a rather painful thing and I don't mean just now, but long time now but maybe your Grandmother's death has increased this sense. My efforts would now be on that spectrum.

Are you giving  her distance healing or hands on?
Just see that you don't turn her on the front side.
Give her Reiki after every 3 hours.

My mom lives 2000 miles away, so no, I am only sending Reiki for her highest good. It seems to be flowing better now.

My mom is a wonderful, warm, generous and caring woman, who hundreds, if not thousands, of people know and love. And she LOVES TO PLAY. That is truth. She is the first one to give to others and universally accepting of others that are not her family (she is a little tougher on us  )

You know, my mom has been telling me the past couple of years about how she "wouldn't trade her life for anything" and how she is completely content and really truly loves her life. I live 2000 miles away and have not seen her for many years until July. When she came, she was using a cane and had so much blocked up pain. I am sure most of you have seen the person who smiles for the camera, but the pain is showing in the eyes and smile. Well, that is what I saw in July. So crippled in pain.

I think the body tells the truth and she has had much sorrow in her life and inability to let go and forgive herself (which I have been working on for myself  ). She may indeed be happy, but her sorrows are coming out in other ways for her to learn.

I feel unable/unwilling to tell her how I feel she is holding so much inside it is spilling over to shine a light on the lesson. She is not friendly to any kind of constructive advice from us (family). It causes her too much pain, so I leave it (advising her) alone, knowing that her soul will find a way for her to learn the lessons she needs to learn through others.

It is a lesson for all of us in my family, all in different ways, and I think it is going to be a very profound and enlightening lesson.

So, for now, I will continue to send Reiki to help her both to heal emotionally and physically. And I thank each and every one of you who is sending healing her way, from the bottom of my heart. It is never too late for an old dog to learn new tricks and I KNOW that she does want to find happiness and true peace.
