Yes sir.. I am aware about that. It was just for testing that how attachment works nothing else.
The forum can recover lots of space by deleting unnecessary posts. FrOm the date of establishment of the forum it consists of lots of unnecessary contents (posts) including – ok, thank you, yes/no etc..
In General Chat there is lots of posts that should be removed as they are not necessary. And a BIG list of members who have joined the forum 30-12-2006 to till now and still with ZERO posts.
We can reduce the size of Database by removing them.
Here is a suggestion by THC Member Chandresh Chhatlani, he is my Colleague n very busy person (Busy in university work) so he asks me to post this…..
We should post some material for newbie that what to do between two attunements, and how to use Reiki. Manuals tell that how to use reiki but the healer wants to know that what to do with particular modalities, because there is few matter about Kundalini Reiki and Ayurvedic Reiki.
The base is Usui Reiki and it’s almost clear to all users because maximum user at the time of registration at least first degree holder but for Ayurveda and Kundalini Reiki and for SuryaShakti there should be more posts by expert users.

on first 40 pages of members list there are 411 members with zero post.
and we have 104 pages of members. so average 1068 users are there without any post. first they should be removed.

then several users with 1-2 posts; here we should be concern on posts. Qualitative posts are better then quantitative posts.

I understand not every person can write and due to busyness one may cant write in forum. However this must not be an excuse, but it may be considered.

At first I would like to tell, forgive all, whether they've written or not.

If someone doesnt know how to write a feedback, a pre-designed feedback form can be provided, the person need to fill that only, as we already using for Request.

We also need to track records of members, who only view the topics, and getting benifitted from that.

After that, inactive members can be analyzed. Just send a friendly reminder to visit THC otherwise membership would be removed (however removal is not necessary).

I also prefer to send atleast one article in a month in the Email Inbox of the members to get into touch with them. It'll also be benificial.

I am little against in limited database for social causes, but there shouldnt be junk data. By sending mails, if that bounced back, that person can be marked inactive due to improper information.

But if we are inactivating a member, there should be an option to reactivate his/her account with the same information. This will require.

Also if above process creates unnecessary headache, then, leave the rules as it is in current position, ultimately most of the members are visiting, regardless of they are logging in or not.

I am a member of several different spiritual forums at which I'm also a moderator. I find and hear of several aspects that you good people are addressing.

Yes, most members are what we call "lurkers." Some because they're only here to get the attunements, true. But others are either not confident regarding their knowledge and feel intimidated, not wanting to feel ignorant.

Still others are those who learn, who read, but who do not tend to participate. This is likely just their nature; on the other hand, they may not have the same intent focus as those who participate frequently.

But there are also two other issues that may affect people's participation. One, many people aren't very tech-savvy and this format can be confusing. Where do they find a site menu, where to post just general questions, things of that nature.

Also, many sites will email you with a notification that there's been a new post at the site, which I don't think this site does. Life is busy, and many people will read emails, but not daily visit sites that don't give them reminders.

As for what can be done to invite more participation, I know that Ning sites allow people to have their own page, post photos, join or create groups of interest, and add friends. Is that perhaps an option or possibility with this format?

I know that I'm still learning this site, and I love it. I don't know any of you yet, but I feel a strong kinship with all of you!

there should be only one change, the colour of "Post Reply" button. coz its lill dull n for a newbie its difficult to locat that

Good Suggestion... the option "Notify me when a reply is posted" is available here but is not working for me.

Dear Friends,
One doesn't have to be tech savvy to participate & post, just the inclination.
Secondly if they cannot handle simple reply button how can they handle the Ning type resource hungry interface.
All aside all one needs is the right attitude.
There is complete freedom to post.
Mohan has done a fantastic job with the coding of the THC portal. Forum is a just a part of it, if not The Part.
It is not only a technical job but also a tedious one. Maintaining a database & backing it up on regular basis. handling Virus, spamming & hacking attacks. Other issues like server space etc.
here we are venting our frustrations while he is really dealing with all this so coolly.
The forum is fine as it is.
I really appreciate the concern of you friends & understand your feelings. but also think about Mohan how he must be feeling sometimes. I tried that way & got my answer.
Anyways help us to help you & when we need help we will surely ask.

Very agree with you Steve... I understand...Being a Website developer, I can understand, every website, regardless of big or small, is not just only a website, but that is something NOTHING to SHAPED from our hands... Like a person grows his/her kids.... Sameway applies here.

I agree that we need to all help, and that a healthy group means it's an active and productive group of people working for a worthy cause.

As for the attunements, it's very exciting that we can help Mohan with the attunements, but also that it's beneficial work for both the practitioners and the recipients, and for the global cause we all work toward.

While we know that the attunements and healings transcend the boundaries of time and space, it would be great if all who receive attunements and can do them would tune in at the same time. Let's say, 10 p.m. on the last day of each month. Then the intention is set into the energy.

If those who can do the appropriate attunements focus upon the person's name and attunement request (and their energy signature), then do the attunement. And if those who aren't qualified to do attunements (or not for the type of attunements recipients seek) do distance healings (for Level II) and meditation (for Level I practitioners), then each person receiving an attunement would receive a stream of energy, one stream containing all attunements and healings and energy. This could be very powerful, although I've not heard of it being done.

As for the distance healing requests, count me in! I'd be very happy to join in this, and shall check on this tonight.

I do have another suggestion. The manuals are, I believe, very important. Without them, there is a lack of training for those who are serious about Reiki. The Usui manuals are helpful, but they could use editing and proofreading. Also, in the Level III manual, one page is missing, and it gives a level I attunement that includes inserting the Master symbol, unless I misread it.

I've been doing a lot of research into Kundalini and have many questions on how it integrates into Reiki treatments.
A manual for Kundalini Reiki would be very helpful.

I am a technical writer and hold degrees in English and writing. I would be humbly honored if it would be helpful for me to edit and proofread the manuals. Please let me know if I may help you with this.

Could we start a section at this wonderful site for Reiki techniques, questions, problems, further training, etc.? This section could be subdivided by the type of Reiki for quick and easy access. Anyone asking or replying should probably identify their level of Reiki, since each level should have increasing levels of expertise and a more broad scope of knowledge.

Again, Mohan, thank you so much for this site and for the attunements. These things may take the pressure off of you. I am also very grateful to the moderators for their help and energy. I know how much work sites can be, and how much love and energy is put into getting them starting and raising them, as if they were loved ones! Thank you, as well, to all members here. This is a community. And healthy communities are active communities.

it seems that We are proving ourselves as a Selfish Member at THC Family, I would not like to mention specific Name....It’ll better if one could understand this automatically, of which I am talking in this post

People come here for Free Attunement and Free Healing.but when any other require help...they Disappear....they never reply for any Healing request...but Require healing from other members.

The Worst Case :--->look at the post "Please send healing to Mohanji" how many members replied?

A Great Person who is spending his invaluable time to attune many Unknown Persons and providing it Free of Cost. Cant we send healing for better health and happiness to him? Isn’t it shame? We are here to just receiving free things but don’t have any time to Send healing to him....

If such post would had written to provide a new type of attunement, numerous people have replied. Are we qualify to become a member of THC, even when we are ignoring such posts. I don’t think so.

Very agree with you Pradeep. I also personally feel that THC is for welfare of the people who are linked with Vedic Healing in any manner. Whether they are receiving the energy or becoming a channel.

Free attunement is one process to increase hands of THC and to send more and more healing to the needful. I understand it very obvious that any of our moderator/admin never wants his personal benifits through THC and by passing free attunements.

If we have heart, it is a big obligation.

Even after that, if we are ignoring their motto or appeal for them, then it is really shameful.

We all must think on this.
