chakra 6th sense

Dear Mohan and all

I had this question in my mind that what its about is the chakras and its meaning in more deep understanding.  I was particularly interested in the 3rd eye chakra that has its characteristics ---> its colour is indigo blue and has its unique attributes --> expanded consciousness, visions, ideas & ideals, inspirations, and higher thinking, and last of all i have heard it has 6th sense attributes to it as well?  For instance i am healing daily at my 3rd eye chakra and i have noticed slight boost in conscious and awareness but i haven't yet got the point to where the 6th sense comes in to effect?  If i had 6th sense abilities (which i should now) should'nt i be able to sense other beings or entities around me just like the animal kingdom does as an example.

The "6th sense" governs so many things and it seems each of us has an "affinity" for different gifts. Some people may be aware through sight, others through sound, others through touch, others through scent, others through taste, others through "knowing". You may have one or all of these, just depending on you.

I have a friend that would SMELL perfume when the ghost was present, but I would SEE the ghost. Neither of use would sense the ghost at the same time and I NEVER smelled it and he NEVER saw it. Still, it was there and we were aware of it.

I guess what I am saying is you may be aware of energies in a different way than seeing them. Also, you may be trying too hard. This seems to be a big obstacle for us. The more we try, the less we are able to do.  I pull very hard on a cork in a wine bottle to remove it and hurt my hand. I say "let it be easy" and concentrate on LETTING it happen and the cork comes right out. This is just from last night and I see it more everyday in everything I do. This may not be true for you, but I put it out there for you to decide.

Some of us also have blocks to seeing, or hearing, because of past life experiences the soul does not wish to repeat. These will be cleared away through time and healing. If psychic gifts were misused in the past, we may put inhibitors in our way to prevent these gifts from coming forward until we are ready to use them without abuse. Again, not to say this is true for you, just to give you some food for thought.

I hope this has been of some help and perhaps, others will give you other foods for thought, too.

Wery well put, I was going to say something similar, but was called away, and when I checked back, you said it already. So on that note, ditto. And Alper, just trust your intuition, because you are using your sixth sense daily, and not being aware of it. But it is there, patience and practice is the key.

Well if you like experiment on this Ninjutsu exercise...it is  awareness exercise for attack in dark and from behind!
Tell a friend of yours that you trust completely to help on this by standing behind you at 2 meters away from your back holding a wooden staff.
He must try to strike you with an instant real murderous intention to harm you but to be able to stop the stuff before reach your head....
Close your eyes, empty your mind and trust your intuition....you will notice that your body wants to move even before your friend moved to strike you!
This helps you to develop this kind of 6th sense ....animal one.....lol 
It is not difficult you ll see!

I agree , we all are born with a  6th sense.
Constant meditation & listening to your inner voice helps it to become apparent.
Any spiritual art, prayer, Reiki, Yoga, sport, Martial art helps you to develop & horne it.
But people are so clouded with other thoughts, doubts & blocks that they lose their ability to sense even the normal 5 senses correctly.
Some are born naturally with a heightened intutive mind.
Some doubt on everything.(This is  not intuition or 6th sense). We come across this lot often.
I found Reiki to be very useful in developing the Intuitive qualities.
Remember Intutiton is a clear thought, don't confuse it with a bundle of alternatives & doubt.

WoW nice to feed me with your suggestions, ideas

I have noticed one thing that before and after Reiki, i was a plain human without any extra senses, feelings of peace, centering the conscious mind, balanced body rhythm, blocked, bounded.. etc more..  But after reiki i have built heaps in sense, peace, balance, mind over 6th sense but not quite, spiritual enlightenment, quicker to respond-think-work-answer, heal and help, and i definitely have a very strong intuition like flowing water with positivity,  ive grown from a dead crumpled flower to fresh one that is being fed water daily. I rise as powerful as the sun rises (but in human terms lol)and when sun sets, i set when i sleep.  I feed energy to myself daily like nature kingdom is fed sun rays to nourish and flourish itself.
And i switch off when i go to bed.

And after all this i am at this point in life where it all matters to me to see that each chakra and its corresponding effect, power, frequency, ray in its respective energy field does give me the light and its miracleous feats. to perform as intended. i.e open minded, positive, peace, love, higher consc., balanced, centered, relaxed, meditative and thought should be the formula to onset my answers.

I have another extra feat. i have through Reiki is a slightly more raised fear if i call it or it could be the 6th sense!!, when im outside or inside alone... and somehow i might expect something to be there or not to be there.  Maybe this could be the trigger to open the 6th sense channel and begin the journey. Or maybe this is the 6th sense!! as i switch over to the 6th sense state from the normal conscious state, like channel switching or tuning in or out of radio stations.

I am very good at opening tight frozen pepsi or coke or any bottle caps, even jar caps after many people tried and failed.  All i do is i put mind over matter and grab it and fling it open fast!.

I have and always heal at my 6th sense daily Myst, and shouldn't it be flowing fast to remove any sort of energyfield blockage? I dont have any past life or did have. My background doesn't permit previous encounters  or have heard of any ---> with respect to others here and the world on their part.

I agree , we all are born with a  6th sense.

steve, i think were all born with alot of feats. and we only can ever use the most 1-5% of our brains and i think IF someone finds out a way to use the power of the brain more (which they wont) than they will become most powerful-smart-either good or evil,  especially think of the unlimited abilities they/we can posses.  But god has limited humans in this sense to most things because the humankind is more balanced in all lifes fields.  Everything and anything has equal, even, required feats to feed it, and live by it by the miracle plain and clear and not all cars get exactly the same thing a ferrari or a show car has to be sold at the car dealer or private (Imagine the unaffordability!!)

(think if a flower, animals, planets, life, universe, and everything of living purpose etcetcetcetcetc-->-->--> had unlimited abilities to never stop growing and grow all sorts of unimaginable things and feats.!! (but simply it isn't like that and not there) Thats why god has fine tuned anything, everything that exists ever so everything can be perfectly balanced and run in its aquired course perfectly without faults or problems).

Imagine people massing with huge mind over matter-over mind-over everything goes on think of evil vs good aaagh! catastrophe, human kind will be wiped out!!... = impossible to live.  Say god passed to us 6th sense just like the animal kingdom, then wherever we are we would be able to meet spirits, and same time be afraid for some and afriad for some, too many spooky things will go on and not for some, same time fun and not fun, same time evil, same time good.

Interacting with jinns (spirits) for good and evil - interacting, dealing, fighting etc. And god knows the rest start to end.

I could go on another hour posting up here but i think i will save it for another post.  :-\

Dear Alper I have to agree with the most of your views but just thinking.....and I call you to think of it too...
If we were grown with different way....how the the world could had been?
If your mother was grown by learning how to communicate with the spiritual plane as normal or use the "supernatural" human abilities...what effects could had had on you?
How much more able and smart should have you been?....me either...lol
I think that then the I.Q of humans must had been much more higher!!!
And the abilities too! 
But think about this....If I have the knowledge to heal or to destroy or to communicate with the spirits and want to seem powerful to other people and maybe to govern them....The only thing I have to do to protect my "precious" power.... is to make others to "believe" that all these are evil, bad and harmful or nonexistent...
As you can realize while a person does moves/actions for his/her spiritual development starts to see the whole creation with much more love ,become more open minded and connected with the spiritual world which normally fulls him/her with calmness and peace...No intention o harm others! but only to help! 
The fear and the negative feelings of revenge and inferiority makes people do harm each other....
Only then the thirst of MORE POWER appears...
I think that the God or whatever wants/expects the evolution of human kind and not the deadlock caused by fear or misunderstandings and mercenary motives!

yes agreed fully, im wondering what has happened to the Q&A forum here in holistic, people arent asking anymore questions for like 2-3 weeks now?.  Anyway in this spiritual world its all unknown to us and were scratching the surface but it hasn't yet advanced more into it somehow.  We're all like bounded to a specific limit of our life journey from god. Or maybe 1 day it could be discovered and understood to what the jinn-spiritual life is more really about OR never to be.
