Dear all,
    Could anybody share experiences (how, tips and tricks) in treating hyperactive / autism / ppd-nos children ? What type of reiki is the most suitable for those children ? Since most of the children have difficulties in communication, is it oke to treat them without their permission? Thank you for your kind information.

Hello! I want to say that I am not an expert on this subject but I asked my ex-teacher 1 year ago the same question.She told me that all this kids/adults who are suffering by autism are very positive to Reiki energy. And they are "thirsty" for healing energies!

They respond very good in most cases.
If you use Usui Reiki system (as my ex-teachers modality) it is fine to work with all the basic hand postures all over the body.
You can even "stay" a little longer on their head-heart chakra and solar plexus.
But there are cases that you will be not able not even to touch them so then you have to use long distant healing methods.

What type of reiki is the most suitable for those children ?

All types are fine as the Reiki has its own inteligence! 

Since most of the children have difficulties in communication, is it ok to treat them without their permission?

It should be better to ask for their peermition but if you can't take an answer verbaly,you have to trust your intuition as pets/plants healing procedure.

Hi,

With regards to permission which isn't always possible I tend to ask their higher selves and ask that if they refuse it, that it pass on to someone etc else who will except it.

Many of your questions will be answered.

You can Reiki them in many ways. use all your Intuition. Remember you are doing it with the best of intentions & for the highest good of the healee.

Secondly if you do get permission from the healee do atleast one complete hands on session on the Healee.  Reiki all the main 7 Chakras namely the CROWN, THIRD EYE, THROAT, HEART, SOLAR PLEXUS, HARA(belowthe navel) & ROOT Chakra. The Crown Chakra & HARA Chakra should be given special Attention in such cases.  Also to add to that give Reiki to both the sides of the head covering the Ears & then back of the Head.  If time permits do the shoulder position & back of all chakras.
One most important point to remember is at the end of the session ground the individual by placing your hands on the sole of the feet.
This treatment can also be given to all Chronic illnesses. Use your Intuition & add any position you feel will help.
