Feedback after USUI REIKI -1

Dear Mohan,

Thanks for attuning me to Usui Reiki -1 on 29 June, 2007.

From the morning I was thinking as to whether I can be attuned  and if I can get the time when u start attuning me so that I can sit and meditate.
At noon and evening I was feeling certain energies flowing in me and that my palm became very warm.
At that instant my inner guide told me that I have been attuned.

Would like to mention regarding my parent who have been attuned on the same day.
When I asked them if they also experience the same energy, they said that they have not felt it yet.
I would like to ask as to why I felt the energy flowing from my root chakra to the crown chakra while my parents did not.
