I am awake

Post by chandresh_kumar »

Once a group of spiritual leaders and other people met Gautam Buddha, they might have heard about him and were treating him an extraordinary super-natural person. Due to curiosity, they asked

"Are you God?"
Buddha replied - 'No'

"An angel?"
'No'

"A saint?"
'No'

Then what are you?
Buddha answered
'I am awake'

To awaken art of living is to be learnt; to unite mind, body and reality. To awaken is to bring the reality of the present moment to life; to be mindful and aware of the present moment, to truly live the present moment.

Meditate every time, every hour, every minute and each second of the life... It is hard but possible...
Be blessed always. Love and Light. :F0

on the sea of death and life,
the diver's boat is freighted
with "is" and "is not".
but if the bottom is broken through,
"is and "is not" disappear.

the mind cannot become the buddha;
the body cannot become the buddha;
only what cannot become the buddha
can become the buddha.

as lightning
which disappears like dew,
which vanishes like a phantom --
thus think of yourself.

a mind to search elsewhere
for the buddha
is the foolishness
in the very center of foolishness.

the dew on the lotus leaf
undyed by its colour,
just as it is,
is the real form of buddha.

...
Buddham sharanam gachchaami,
sangham sharanam gachchami,
dhammam sharanam gachchami... :F0 :F0

Fantastic words Monica ji. Original is natural and and if we could become natural (Real natural) what we are, is the real form of Buddha.

Thanks and Regards, :F0
