Serial blasts struck Mumbai Wednesday evening, less than three years after the 26/11 terrorist attacks of 2008. The three blasts, in sequence, were timed at 6.30 pm, 6.45 pm, and 7 pm IST, and targeted in that order Zaveri Bazaar, Opera House and the Kabutarkhana area of Dadar West. Zaveri Bazaar, centre of the jewellery industry, is adjacent the iconic Mumbadevi temple from which the city derives its name.
It is very sad and unfortunate also shocking at the scale of the attacks targeted against innocent people causing numerous fatalities and casualties.

You were so worried for me. I was really touched.
I was on Skype with Pradeep & Deepesh at same time.
My sister was only person in the family who was out.
She was safe, but I was worried as it was a serial blast/ thats been the trend over the years.
Also she has experienced the 1993 serial Blast at close quarters. She might have been tense.
Also a dear & close friend had just passed the Kabhutarkhana Blsast by 2 mins in his car.
A neighbor also reported seeing the blast from her office windows.
