Homemade Scrubs for Oily Skin....

1] Lemon Juice And Salt Scrub :-
Sea salt is one of the best ingredients for scrubbing and exfoliating your face. Lemon juice helps in reducing the blemishes on your skin and also reduces the oiliness.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon lemon juice.
1 tablespoon sea salt.

How To Use :
1. Mix the lemon juice and sea salt and apply the mixture on the face.
2. Massage on your face for 2-3 minutes.
3. Rinse with water.

Tips And Precautions:
Make sure to use an oil-free moisturizer after using this scrub.

How Often Should I Use?
Use this one to two times in a week.

2] Tomato Scrub For Oily Skin :-
The astringent properties of tomato reduce the excess oil, cleanse the skin, and also shrink pores. Your skin will be less oily, tighter, and also lighter with this remedy.

Ingredients:
1 small tomato.
1-2 tablespoons sugar.

How To Use:
1. Extract the juice from the tomato and add sugar to it.
2. Scrub well with this mix on the face and the neck area as well.
3. Rinse with water.

Tips And Precautions:
If you have sensitive skin, add some honey to the mix.

How Often Should I Use?
Repeat this twice a week.

3] Sugar Scrub For Oily Skin :-
Sugar granules exfoliate the skin and make it smoother. Exfoliation also removes excess oil from the skin and reduces the chances of acne breakouts.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sugar.
1 teaspoon honey.

How To Use:
1. Mix the sugar and honey together.
2. Scrub your face and neck gently for 2-3 minutes.
3. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Tips And Precautions:
Do not mix the ingredients too much as the sugar will melt.

How Often Should I Use?
Use this scrub twice a week.

4] Rice Scrub For Oily Skin :-
Rice scrub is a gentle exfoliant that helps to remove the dead cells clogging the skin pores (21). Baking soda is also a skin exfoliant, and at the same time, it helps to bring down the excess sebum production.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon ground rice or rice powder.
A pinch of baking soda.
1 teaspoon honey.

How To Use:
1. Mix all the ingredients together.
2. Apply the paste formed on the face and neck, and scrub gently for 2-3 minutes.
3. Rinse with cool water.

How Often Should I Use?
Repeat this 1-2 times in a week.

4] Papaya Scrub For Oily Skin :-
Papaya in a face mask or scrub is absolutely heavenly, especially for those with oily skin type. Its enzymes exfoliate the skin and are as good as getting a chemical treatment done at a clinic. It also unclogs pores and shrinks their size.

Ingredients:
A piece of ripe papaya.
Few drops of lemon juice (optional).

How To Use:
1. Puree the papaya and apply on the face and neck.
2. Massage in circular motions for a few minutes.
3. Rinse with water.

Tips And Precautions:
Do not use this remedy if you are allergic to papaya.

How Often Should I Use?
Repeat this once or twice a week.

5] Masoor Dal Scrub For Oily Skin :-
The coarseness of the masoor dal (red lentils) will remove the dead skin cells and impurities from your skin. Your skin will become smoother and softer. Turmeric improves the vascular density and circulation under the skin. Yogurt controls the oil production.


Ingredients:
2 teaspoons masoor dal powder (red lentils).
A pinch of turmeric.
1-2 teaspoon yogurt.

How To Use:
1. Add the turmeric powder to the red lentils powder and mix well.
2. Now, add the yogurt and mix.
3. Scrub your face gently with this for 2-3 minutes.
4. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Tips And Precautions:
Use rosewater as the liquid if you are allergic to dairy products.

How Often Should I Use?
