fed a homeless man

Post by Beeholtz » Sun Dec 01, 2013 11:47 pm

Today I was driving and saw a homeless man standing outside begging with a sign. I drove down the street and bought him food and he was very thankful. Not Reiki related but made me feel really good
I just want to be better than i was the day before

It's nice to give something tangible to a person, that they can see and hold in their hands to support them. I don't know what it is like t be a homeless person, but I guess they would feel invisible at best. Having you reach out voluntarily to help probably felt good long after the meal was over.

Dear Brandon, :wD
Feeding somebody needy, giving shelter is the greatest deed,
even higher than healing if we try to compare.
Deriving personal reasons from it like satisfaction is not so bad karma. We are human isn't it. few would have done this great act. We are naturally compassionate. The fight for land, wealth & Sex has conditioned us badly.
We need to develop from here on to do it for no reason(at the Buddha level).
well done.
Blessings
